The Spirit of Corby 2023 Awards took place on 17th November 2023 to thank all those who made outstanding contributions to the town, and Sanderson Transport were delighted to sponsor the ‘Living Legend’ award.
Hosted by Andy Barnes from Corby Radio, hundreds of attendees listened to tales of overcoming adversity, and discovering the power of when an entire community comes together.
Thirteen categories had generated thousands of votes from members of the public, culminating in the glittering ceremony at the Holiday Inn, Corby.
This year the night was organised by Corby Town Council who were running the night for the second year in a row after taking it over from the former Corby Borough Council.
Mayor, Leanne Buckingham orchestrated a raffle, with MP Tom Pursglove drawing the winners, to generate funds for the mayor’s three designated charities: Corby District Lions, North Northants CFR, and Teamwork Trust.
Sanderson Transport were delighted to sponsor the ‘Living Legend’ award, which went to Cliff Morton for his brilliant work with The Charity Pot.
