Overview

We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Analyst to join our team of passionate professionals to help drive business growth. The position would suit someone who is motivated and passionate and has experience in delivering comprehensive analytical data to a range of stakeholders across a business. The successful candidate will have meticulous attention to detail, be able to communicate to all stakeholders in a concise and clear manner and be a great team player. They will have an excellent understanding of Microsoft Excel and Power Bi along with their associated features.  This position would suit someone who thrives on delivering excellence and has a desire to add value to the business through their work.

Key Duties

  • Analyse current processes, systems and services and identify trends and opportunities of growth.
  • Develop processes and tools to support management in understanding businesses analytics.
  • Assist the Commercial Director with analysis of data for new tenders and customer specific activities.
  • Business modelling and analysis through various data and system resources.
  • Accurate production of various KIP reports
  • Support management in project work and assisting in data lead Change Management.
  • Presentation of data to various internal and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain positive working relationship with business stakeholders.
  • Work in partnership with other team members to deliver excellent customer service.

Requirements

  • Degree or equivalent NVQ qualification in relevant field (preferable)
  • Experience within the logistics or warehouse industry (desirable)
  • Good understanding of analysis methodologies, tools and techniques
  • Sound analytical background
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and/or other data analytic software packages
  • Ability to explain technical issues in a concise and non-technical manner.
  • Excellent organisation and planning skills
  • Astute attention to detail
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Reliable, flexible, and able to work to tight deadlines
  • Able to work on own initiative and without supervision
  • Ability to stay focused and work under pressure
  • Approachable, calm and professional manner

Additional information

The position is office based at Sallow Road, Corby, working Monday 9am to Friday 5pm – 35 hours per week (with an hour unpaid meal break).

Salary range: £35,000 – £40,000 pa (based on full time hours)

Some hybrid working on completion of a 3 month probation period
