At Stephen Sanderson Transport, we truly believe in the importance of working in partnership. So when the nice people at Palletline wanted to give us an award for it, as you can imagine, we were over the moon.
Palletline is the UK’s most established logistics network. They bring together over 60 of the country’s leading independent logistics and distribution companies. This year is their 25th anniversary, and the Partnership Award is their way of celebrating – by recognising the member businesses that demonstrate the greatest commitment to the main Palletline principle of Partnership.
Only haulage companies that were shortlisted at the network’s Excellence Awards earlier in the year were invited to enter. So that meant we were up against some stiff competition from the start. We all had to submit examples of working partnerships we’d been involved in throughout 2016. And then we had to wait for an independent panel of experts to judge which of us was partner material.
We know most of the other logistics companies that were in the running, so we also know it couldn’t have been an easy decision. But in the end, the award went to us.
So, for this award we’d like to thank Mattel Toys, Morso UK, and everyone else who we’ve partnered with along the way. Honestly, without you, none of this would’ve been possible.
