Despite the current economic climate, 2011 is already turning out to be a bumper year for Market Harborough-based distribution specialists Stephen Sanderson Transport Ltd.
In addition to reporting growing business volumes and a very positive commercial outlook, the company has just won a major business award through national pallet network Palletline, naming Sandersons as its chosen Delivery Depot of the Year for service excellence – for the second year running.
The Awards are hotly contested and coveted by Palletline depots nationwide as a real measure of achievement and recognition, voted by their peers across the UK. This Award formally recognises Stephen Sanderson Transport’s performance, based not only on volumes delivered but also rewarding compliance with network requirements, accuracy and sustained service levels.
“To win this Award once last year was a real bonus for the whole team,” stated Ed Sanderson. “To be in the frame and to scoop the top prize for the second year running is proof of our commitment to reliability, performance and customer satisfaction.”
Ed is very positive about the future for the company. “We’re definitely bucking the trend – the last 12 months have been very busy and we’ve made an excellent start for 2011, with both existing and new business. We field an experienced team of distribution professionals throughout our whole company here in Market Harborough, and our continued success is testament to their skills and dedication.”
First established in 1973, Stephen Sanderson Transport has grown from ‘one man and a van’ through to a multi-national haulage company operating in the region of 60 vehicles throughout the UK and Europe, offering its customers a comprehensive range of transport-related services, from single pallets through to full loads.
